Our Weekend Trip to Dudhwa : Day 2 Part III - The Drive to Kishanpur

So after having missed the tiger, presumably closely, we discussed around with our guide and had decided to reschedule our evening safari to Kishanpur Wild Life Sanctuary instead of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, we had to pay a few hundred rupees etc as the entry point to Kishanpur WLS is located about 30 kms from the Dudhwa complex.

Our drive till the Kishanpur was pretty good too, it was perhaps the first time that we were travelling in an open jeep outside a forest.

Surprisingly, we saw a crocodile well outside the forest, in a pond next to mustard fields.

The villages and fields enroute were looking lovely too in the evening light.

See, what we mean when we say that the place is very less touristy...๐Ÿ˜€

While our guide got the formalities done, the kids enjoyed the adjoining village

And so after the entry formalities, we set course for the forest...

Lovely fields on the fringes of forest...
